Jeannette is an effective litigator dedicated to helping employees pursue their rights. She represents employees in the firm’s state, federal, and appellate practice in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistle blowing, wrongful discharge, family medical leave, fraud, and unpaid wages. Jeannette has successfully briefed and argued numerous cases before California federal and state courts. She has also written several published articles on employment law topics and was a presenter for a San Francisco Bar Association Continuing Legal Education seminar.
Raised in California, Jeannette obtained her B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley, with honors. She received her J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School where she graduated magna cum laude. After law school, Jeannette practiced plaintiff’s employment law in Portland, Oregon before returning to California in 2012.
Jeannette has been recognized as one of the Top Women Attorneys in Northern California and as a Super Lawyer’s Rising Star. She serves on the Legislative Committee of the California Employment Lawyer’s Association and volunteers as a supervising attorney for the Worker’s Rights Clinic of the Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center. She is also a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, California Employment Lawyers Association, National Employment Lawyers Association, San Francisco Bar Association, American Association of Justice and the Consumer Attorneys of California. Jeannette is admitted to practice in Oregon and California.
